First Sitting of the 6th Parliament of the UHAS-SRC

With the commencement of a new academic year and the induction of a new SRC administration, the first parliamentary sitting was held on the 11th of February, 2023, for the constitution of the 6th Parliament.

5 members of UHAS-MSA were elected into key positions in the Parliament at the end of the election and approval of the Speaker of Parliament and Committee Heads.

Hubert Amponsah Jnr, the UHAS MSA Vice President was elected as the Welfare Committee Chair and Fiona Mirialys Anaman as the Editorial Committee Chair.

Harris Ohene Nyarko, the FGMSA Exchange Officer, was elected to Chair the Foreign Affairs and Exchange Committee, and Emmanuel Delali Fayorsey was Legal Advisor.

Jephtha Owusu Boateng, the immediate past Health Officer of UHAS MSA, was elected as the Speaker of the 6th Parliament of the UHAS-SRC.

 

The UHAS-MSA and FGMSA say Ayekoo to all the elected members. Greatness awaits you. We are proud of you.
