JOSHUA ARTHUR FGMSA FRESHERS’ QUIZ
As part of the numerous activities to welcome the newly admitted medical students in the various Medical Students’ Associations, to the Federation, a short trivia called the Dr. Joshua Arthur FGMSA Freshers’ Quiz ,was organized. This quiz was to test the knowledge of the Freshers on the FGMSA, the current affairs of the nation and some general knowledge questions mostly in the field of medicine.
There were so many prizes to be won. Prizes to be won included;
1st Place:
– 200 Ghana cedis
– 6 months premium subscription on lecturio
– FGMSA souvenirs
– Certificate of participation
2nd Place:
– 100 Ghana cedis
– 3 months premium subscription on lecturio
– FGMSA souvenirs
– Certificate of Participation
3rd place
– 50 Ghana cedis
– 1 month premium subscription on lecturio
– FGMSA souvenirs
– Certificate of participation
The quiz took place on Saturday, 12th February, 2023 on Zoom. There were five contestants, one from each of the five public MSAs in Ghana. The contest was an interesting one. We heard some really funny responses like “A member of SCOME is called a Medical Assistant” and the like. (We won’t laugh too much, because we know that most of the continuing students would get that question wrong too)
It was a beautiful contest. The official results of the quiz were as follows ;
KNUST MSA -21pts
UCC MSA- 22 pts
UHAS MSA- 31 pts
UG MSA -33 pts
UDS MSA -34 pts
A back-to-back it is for UDS MSA!
We would like to officially congratulate UDS MSA for retaining its title as the winner of the Freshers quiz. It was indeed a spectacular performance.
