MEDI-LAW HEALTH WALK
We can all attest to the fact that medical school is quite draining and a little bit of fun goes a long way in helping us cope with the insurmountable stress. In view of this, the leadership of the University of Ghana Medical Students’ Association(UGMSA), in collaboration with the leadership of the University of Ghana Law Students’ Union, organized the maiden edition of MEDI-LAW HEALTH WALK.
This exciting event took place on Saturday 28th January, 2023 at the UGMSA Sports Complex in Korle-bu. The bus that conveyed the Law students from Legon Campus arrived in Korle-bu at around 6:30am. It was an awesome sight to behold as students of such noble professions, marched through the beautiful streets of the biggest hospital in Ghana, accompanied by music and joyful shouts.
The fun did not end after the walk. There was aerobics, games, health screening and picnic. It was also an opportunity for us to build new networks and it strengthened the relationship between the two associations. We are looking forward to more of this.
