Vice-President Bawumia refurbishes 2 health facilities

Following the successful funding of the refurbishment of the Central Mosque at Tamale, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia commissioned the two refurbished health facilities in the North East Region.

The facilities – Walewale Government Hospital and Wulugu Health Centre – were given a facelift to create a conducive environment for Healthcare Development.

The Chief Executive of West Mamprusi Municipal Assembly, Issahaku Aremeyaw Somo told the Daily Graphic that  “ The Vice President is very committed to improving healthcare delivery in the region; that is why he undertook such an initiative and that the health facilities have never witnessed such a major facelift since its establishment ‘’

Mr. Somo said the provision of quality health care was the collective responsibility of the public and entreated those who could support such efforts to endeavor to do so.

Officials of the facilities have expressed gratitude to Dr.Bawumia for the gesture and pledged to take proper care of the health centers.
